January 15th was a big night for our Lafayette Irish. Not only our basketball players, but for our alumni and entire student body alike. The Friday night game was set to take place on the floor of our new and improved Lafayette High School Gymnasium. The gymnasium overflowed with people in anticipation for the dance performed by our Irish Poms, along with some alumni pommies. The girls killed the floor, bringing back some throwback moves as well. Throwback night for Lafayette High School is always a success, and it was an even bigger success knowing that our boys and girls will be performing on the new gym floor for the first time ever. Setting a new stone in the path of history that fills our halls. Some of the Alumni participants included, Anna Richardson, Mrs.Samantha Davis, Erin Steele, and Korey Massey. The choreography for the dance was created by Seniors Ashlyn Frye, and Jillian Lysaght, Junior Emmalee Talbot and Coach Rhor. The girls are now in preparation to perform a new dance. The new dance will be showcased during the homecoming game on February 12th. The game will be against Bishop LeBlond High School, and the dance will be choreographed by the senior Poms including Arianna Davis-Williams, Lauren Weigart, and Brooklyn Wattenbarger.
