My Other Half

Do you have someone you look up to?  Is your hero realistic or fiction?  My hero is my brother.  I look up to my brother because he inspires me so much, and he’s the reason why I am the way I am today.  My brother and I are like peanut butter and jelly.  We stick together and he’s always there for me right by my side.  My brother’s name is Kyle and he is 23 years old.  I am 17 years old and I look up to my brother because he encourages me and  inspires me so much.  He means the world to me and I love him.  My brother and I talk to each other every single day and we work together at the same place (Cici’s Pizza) on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s.  The way that my brother encourages me is by how he helps me deal with things that go on in life.  Also, there’s some days to where I don’t want to go to school because I will get bullied, but like he always tells me, “Don’t let people get to you and ruin your day. Keep your head held high, and block them out.”  He’s always willing to hang out with me to keep me company. He’ll take me out to dinner down in Kansas City to anywhere I want to go, then come back to Saint Joseph, Missouri and go to his house to play video games.  Since I have anxiety, sometimes I’ll have anxiety attacks and he’ll tell me, “Sis, think positive thoughts, take deep breaths, close your eyes and relax your mind.”  That’s another way he encourages me.  I love working at the same place my brother and my sister (Kayla)  works.  She’s the manager of Cici’s Pizza on Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, Saturday’s, and sometimes Sunday’s.  The reason why I love working with my brother is because I feel more comfortable around the ones who love me because they keep me calmed down and help to reduce my stress.  Anytime someone is mean to me at work, he defends me because I’m a very emotional person. He always says, “I’ll always defend you until the day I die, sis, I love you.” and then he’ll give me a hug.  These are all the reasons why my brother is my hero.  He’s always there for me, he never lets me down, I can count on him, and he defends me.  He’ll drop everything just to save his little sister.  My brother is just the best, I wouldn’t want to change a thing!  Also, it’s nice to have someone in your life that understands and treats you the same as any other person.  I’m glad that my brother and I have a close bond, he’s my best friend and my goodness, what would I do without my best friend?  Finally, I look up to my brother because he is so encouraging, inspiring, and loving.  So, do you look up to someone that’s realistic or fiction? Is there someone that you can count on?
